I hope this works!

When my friend ALissa was visiting, her mom snapped a pic of us, and Alissa e-mailed it to me when she got home. It's up on her Facebook page, but I'm going to try and post it here. Cross your fingers, everyone!

Alissa is the pretty blonde on the left, I'm on the right.  Yeah, I'm not exactly Cindy Crawford, but I think the pic came out wonderfully.

Don't be putting yourself down missy! I will smack you.

Well, hello you! It feels like it's been a while. I'm up for some IMing if you are.

That's a lovely photo! And look at you, awash in sunshine! No wonder people retire to Florida. :)

Oh, thank you, sweetie. I came home with a suburn, though. Being in the sun isn't that great, trust me!

Oh, ouchie. I'm sorry to hear that! I have very fair skin, and I keep a bottle of aloe gel in my fridge just in case I get burned. Just today a friend was telling me that her therapist had suggested sitting in the sunlight for 20 minutes a day to combat depression. I worry about getting too much sun because there is a history of skin cancer in my family, but like many things, I suppose in moderation it's a good thing.

In any case, you and your friend's sunny smiles are the best part of that photo!

I haven't had a sunburn in something like 20 years! But we stayed out at the pool with Alissa's son all morning, so even with the lotion, I suppose it was inevitable. Still, I'm much more of an indoor person.

But I love the smiles, too. I was so happy that day!

You look so lovely and happy. :)

And I totally got sunburnt, too. I was at the beach in germany and it was so windy that I didn't realize my legs were getting burnt to a crisp. :)

Thank you! I was happy, it was so great to see her again!

*GASP* ANDI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*jumps up and down*

WOW, I actually get to SEE you! You're a real live person! OMG how cool is this? *hugs you tight*

Yay, I'm so so happy you posted this. I love you!!!!

Yep, there I am. In the flesh!

I'm always a little hesitant about putting up pics of myself. Not that I have many, but I'm just so used to people looking down on me for my appearance, it's hard to display myself like that. But LJ people are so kind and accepting, and I really do think the picture came out great.

Love you too, Kellie. Always!

I always hate pictures of myself, but love them of other people. I'm so glad I can put a face to your name now. :-)))

I'm the exact same way. But I thought it was such a nice picture that maybe I could put it up. I'm glad I did.

I'm so happy to actually get to see you, Andi! That's a lovely pic and I'm so glad that you shared it with us! *Hugs tight*

*Hugs back* Thank you, Carol!
