Does anyone really want to read this?

Stargate Universe, Smallville, SPN, etc.
I know there's been a lot of complaining about the show, but you know what- it's the only Stargate show I've actually liked! I didn't find it hard to follow, and I think I might have a crush on the guy who plays Lt. Scott. Just what I need, another TV actor to swoon over!

I'm mildly impressed with Smallville so far. Brian Austin Green was a fantastic guest star. Showed some real acting chops. What a long way we've come, little David Silver.

And I am LOVING Supernatural this year. Last year everyone was practically having orgasms about how great the show was, and there I was, yawning my way through it. This year has been a very pleasant surprise, I must admit. And my goodness, can Jensen act!

According to a Dollhouse LJ I follow, I hear the show is very close to cancellation. I really hope Fox gives it some more time. It's already started out stronger than it did last year, and really, it wouldn't kill Fox to put some promotion behind it, or at least move it out of the Friday night death slot.

Let's see, what else is going on in my TV world? Hmm. Love Glee, even made my father start watching it. And I kind of like 90210 and the new Melrose Place. There's no depth to it at all, it's just good trashy fun. What's wrong with that?

I'm also pleased with how good the new season of SV has been so far.

Brian Austin Green was a fantastic guest star. Showed some real acting chops. What a long way we've come, little David Silver.

I'm still shocked over how much he improved over time. I watched him on TSCC, so that's two years now, and I'm still recuperating after the revelation. lol
Would love to see him come back on the show.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dollhouse gets cancelled soon. The ratings are so low, even SV is performing better on CW.
Shame, I really liked 2x01.

I loved him on TSCC, too. I was very upset with the cancellation, especially after the finale, which showed such a promising upcoming season. The only thing that made it bearable was the fact that Dollhouse was renewed. And I'm so worried about that show's fate. Joss should know better than to work with Fox- look what they did to Firefly!

supernatural pretty much makes thursday night tv extra worth it for me. :D jensen ackles is really proving how fantastic he is!

Jensen's always been an amazingly talented actor. But on "genre" shows like SPN and Dark Angel, such talent usually goes unnoticed.

agreed; the awesome actors get overlooked. smallville was really the first thing i saw jensen in, but i fell for him in supernatural. for me, as much as i love sam, (and others such as john, whom i miss, and castiel!! hee) jensen as dean makes the show so enjoyable.

I actually grew to respect Brian Austin Green as an actor after Sarah Connor Chronicles - he was fantastic on that show, like actually impressively good. I was so sad when it was canceled.

I think I'm easy to please with Supernatural. I enjoyed the fourth season a lot, and I'm really enjoying this season as well. They've just gone straight for epic and such, and I have to admit, I am very fond of Castiel, and the whole Lucifer, searching for god, crazy angels stuff. Also, Jensen has possibly become my new Hugh Laurie, since at this point I would be willing to watch pretty much anything he does.

It doesn't surprise me too much that Dollhouse is close to being canceled. It's been hanging by a thread since last season, and honestly - it's not that good of a show (in my opinion, anyway). I can't actually bear to watch it any more - the whole watching characters get raped every week thing kind of killed it for me.

How is Glee? Everyone seems to be talking about it, but I can't decide whether I want to give it a shot, since I keep thinking it's a new Pushing Daisies (another show that I just didn't like). Would you advise giving Glee a shot?

I miss TSCC terribly- BAG was such a revelation there. I was so upset when they cancelled it, but the fact that they renewed Dollhouse made it a little more bearable. I certainly find Dollhouse's theme disturbing, especially the way the female characters are used over and over again, but I think the show itself hs great potential. I'd hate to see it go.

I genuinely love Glee. In some ways, it's not a nice show- a lot the characters are kind of mean. But alot of them aren't, and the musical numbers are a purely joyful experience. I didn't watch Pushing Daisies, just not my cup of tea, but I loved Glee right from the start. It's kind of like High School Musical, but the gay kid is out, and most people act like they're on crack. Personally, I love it.
